This is what my mom and I did on Thanksgiving Monday. My steampunk Mad Hatter costume turned out a bit more steampunk and a little bit less Mad Hatter, but I’m totally fine with that. The best part is, we made it using stuff she already had in her sewing room. The most expensive part was buying the gold braiding to go around the jacket - a whole $7.50. Check out my awesome mini top hat! And my gold pocketwatch! I think I look pretty dapper if I do say so myself.
